Janil and Isaiah live in Long Island, and are getting married there at the Foundry! When we began planning their Long Island engagement session, they made it clear that they wanted to include their neighborhood in their photos. We’re all about creating portraits that reflect who you are – and your love story. So, with that in mind, we began outside their The Foundry. The Foundry has such a great city vibe right in the heart of Queens. Janil and Isaiah looked amazing, so stylish – as we posed them in front of the ivy covered walls and industrial staircases outside the venue. Honestly, it was like working with two models!!
Afterwards, we had Janil and Isaiah change and we headed to the waterfront at Gantry State Park Plaza. We made multiple stops along the way and incorporated very Long Island City backdrops along the way. Their final images included graffiti, an urban garden and their favorite restaurant in LIC! It was the perfect way to capture more of what they love about Long Island City in a relaxed and casual way. Janil and Isaiah are so much fun to be around. They make each other laugh and smile, and we did the same right along with them. We can’t wait for your wedding day, Janil and Isaiah! The Foundy is one of our favorites and we know you’re going to bring your elevated and stylish vibes to the whole day!
