Jessica and Michael’s cozy engagement session took place at Lake Minnewaska in the fall. When we began planning their engagement portraits, it was important to Jessica and Michael to incorporate the things they like to do together. That’s how we wound up planning a hike at Lake Minnewaska! Our session was a lot of fun – Jessica and Michael kept us laughing.
Lake Minnewaska Engagement Session
We planned their session for the fall, so the trees and foliage were simply gorgeous around the lake. Jessica and Michael chose the coziest outfits for their portraits. They started with outfits featuring a dark emerald undertone and their second outfits featured a warm sweater for Michael and a boho inspired white dress for Jessica. It was the perfect feminine and bridal touch for their fall engagement portraits.
At the end of their session, Jessica and Michael decided to add some fun to the session by dressing as ghosts in honor of their favorite holiday Halloween and in their spirit of their love for being silly together! It was hilarious and a great note to end this beautiful fall engagement session on!
