Maddie & Jon

It’s extremely rare for us not to meet a couple before their wedding day- which was the case with Maddie and Jon. They were planning from afar (Texas, to be exact), with a ton of help from Maddie’s mother, Beth and wedding planner extraordinaire, Events by Mary Grace. It can be nerve wracking to meet a couple for the first time on their big day, but from the minute we met, Maddie and Jon were extremely warm, welcoming and a ton of fun. And by FUN…we mean FUN! The most important thing for these two was for us to capture the day as candidly as possible so they could soak up every moment. What we did not expect was how momentous this day would be.

Maddie and Jon were got married at the Thayer Hotel in West Point, Jon’s alma mater. It was important to them to incorporate this part of their lives as a military family. Even more importantly, to incorporate their love of family. There was so much love, excitement and things happening throughout the day that we rarely put our camera down. There was definitely no shortage of laughs, smiles, and tears that celebrated this couple and their incredible love.
