Favorite Wedding Venues: The Rockleigh

We have been meaning to write blog posts about all of our favorite venues for a long time. Now in the midst of this pandemic, not only do we have the time but it is more important than ever to support our industry peers, especially those that without them, we would not have the locations to photograph the beautiful weddings that we capture.

The 6th venue on our Favorite Wedding Venue list is The Rockleigh. We’ve had the pleasure of working at The Rockleigh numerous times and during every season. Our very first time here was for Josephine and Chris’ wedding. It was 95 degrees outside and pouring rain. We worried because we weren’t sure how much we could accomplish inside their property but were pleasantly surprised to find a gorgeous lobby and plenty of rooms to photograph in. For some reason, when we returned there again just a year later, we were given freezing cold weather so we remained inside again. This time we knew what we had to work with and were grateful for being at The Rockleigh. It wasn’t until last year that we actually got to photograph outside on the grounds and were given the extra treat of numerous photo locations that are absolutely beautiful.

We love The Rockleigh not only for the photo ops but also the hospitality we receive from the staff. They treat us well and make sure things are running smoothly and on time. Of course, their food is also delicious and their viennese hour is probably one of the best we’ve seen.
