Bridgeview Yacht Club & Loft by Bridgeview Weddings

We have been meaning to write blog posts about all of our favorite venues for a long time. Now in the midst of this pandemic, not only do we have the time but it is more important than ever to support our industry peers, especially those that without them, we would not have the locations to photograph the beautiful weddings that we capture.

The final venue (s) on our Favorite Wedding Venues list is a two for one- The Bridgeview Yacht Club and their sister venue, the Loft by Bridgeview. We first worked at the Bridgeview Yacht Club a few years ago and fell in love. There is so much to photograph on site and we were actually the first to photograph around their new under construction venue, The Loft. Since that wedding, we were placed on their preferred vendor list and have returned numerous times since.

Each venue has its own unique personality. Bridgeview Yacht Club is an elegant venue with a tented reception room and chandeliers. The most popular photo spot is the boating dock in the back (beautiful during sunset!) but there is also so much to capture indoors- their staircase landing, the lobby fireplace and the bridal suite seating area.

The Loft by Bridgeview is a more edgy venue. It has a rustic yet elegant feel with the brick walls and hanging chandeliers. It is a smaller venue so we typically photograph weddings with less than 150 guests in this space. Photo locations include the lobby and hidden nooks indoors. Outdoors, the most popular spot is underneath the bridge at the waterfront.

Although physically different, both venues still have the same amazing staff and delicious food. Every time we work at either location, we feel at home and always can’t wait to head back!
