Melissa and Ray’s romantic fall wedding at Perona Farms Reserve was the perfect end to an unforgettable triple wedding weekend. By the time their day arrived, we were tired in the best way. And so excited to end the weekend somewhere so beautiful.
The foliage at Perona was unreal. Indeed, peak fall color surrounded the property and gave the entire day that crisp, warm autumn feel. Moreover, this was our very first wedding at the newly renovated Reserve space, and we couldn’t wait to see it in action. The updates are stunning, clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. While still keeping the natural charm that makes Perona such a special place. The indoor spaces are now especially perfect for photos. Additionally, they have beautiful light and a layout that flows so well throughout the day.
Melissa and Ray were beyond excited to get married, and that energy carried through every moment. One thing we really appreciated was how intentional they were with their timeline. By opting out of a wedding party, they gave themselves plenty of time to be present, relaxed, and fully enjoy the day. This also allowed us the space to create beautiful portraits without feeling rushed.
The reception was full of fun, but one moment truly stood out: Ray’s choreographed dance with his friends for Melissa. It was such a heartfelt (and entertaining) surprise and had the entire room cheering. Moments like that are what make a wedding unforgettable.
Ending the weekend with Melissa and Ray’s romantic fall wedding at Perona Farms Reserve felt just right. Joyful, meaningful, and full of love. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to wrap it all up.
