While so many of our couples love having their engagement sessions in the city, we often get couples asking for a more natural vibe, like Jessica and Jonathan. When they do, we throw out a list of ideas and see what sticks. But one of our absolute favorite spots for engagement sessions, especially in the fall, is Bear Mountain in the Hudson Valley. Nestled just a short drive from the hustle and bustle of the city, Bear Mountain offers an escape with breathtaking views. Jessica and Jonathan’s fall engagement session on Bear Mountain was absolutely beautiful and we’re thrilled to be sharing it today!
Fall Engagement Session on Bear Mountain
We met Jessica and Jonathan for a short hike so that we could enjoy the mountaintop during sunset for their portraits. The views from the mountain top are nothing short of spectacular. Not to mention the light at sunset in the fall. It’s truly a gorgeous sight and something that feels incredibly magical, if we’re being honest. Add in a couple like Jessica and Jonathan who love to laugh and you’ve got the makings of something beautiful!
Bear Mountain is a gorgeous option not far from the city for sessions any time of year. However, in the fall it looks incredible! We’re suckers for such gorgeous deep colors everywhere you look. Jessica and Jonathan opted for stylish formal outfits once we reached the mountaintop, which also elevated their final images. Jessica and Jonathan, thank you for trusting us to capture your engagement session – and trusting that we wouldn’t make you hike up too far on the mountaintop. We had a blast with you both!
