When photographing here, timing and lighting are everything. The hotel’s signature atrium creates striking natural light early in the day, while the cozy bar and moody hallways are best captured using off-camera flash. We always recommend coordinating your wardrobe with the setting: sleek, structured outfits pop against the Beekman’s vintage backdrop. One final tip for engagement sessions here: make sure to check in with the hotel staff in advance of your portraits! They’re always wonderful and accommodating, but it’s nice to speak with them beforehand!
