We met Rebecca and Evan earlier this year during quarantine when they were planning their already COVID friendly, intimate wedding in NYC on 10/10/20- the busiest wedding day of the year. Our previous 10/10 couple had already postponed so we were so happy to be available. All plans were in place and we were so ready to spend the time with them. About a month or so before the wedding, their NYC venue canceled on them and the search began for a new place.
Having lived there in the past, Rebecca and Even decided to have their wedding in The Wharf, Washington DC with their reception dinner at Del Mar. We had never been to this specific part in DC before so we came up the night before to avoid same day wedding travel and immediately fell in love with the area. We had an incredible meal at Mi Vida (we just had to go back the next morning for brunch) and explored the area before the next day’s festivities.
As we mentioned, Rebecca and Evan had always planned for a very small wedding, consisting of just their immediate loved ones. These micro-weddings have been so special and we have loved every second of them. Their families were so happy and full of love that the day was absolutely perfect. Thank you for having us, Rebecca and Evan!
