Marisa & Johnny

Marisa and Johnny’s Sands Atlantic Beach wedding was quite an eventful day! It was Jenn’s birthday so we walked into prep excited to spend the day with them and their families but as per usual with weddings, some things never go as planned! First, plans for the first look and photos changed quickly as it was FREEZING outside and super windy. We had to scratch a photo location and opted to do the first look right at home. Second, Johnny’s family received bittersweet news that morning that didn’t allow his brother to attend the wedding but amazing things were on the horizon for them! Their family was growing in more ways than one! Regardless of what was thrown at them on this day, Marisa and Johnny’s love for each other and their families completely overshadowed it all.

This wedding was also a special one for us as Ro used to work at the Sands waaaay back when we were dating. It had been over ten years since he’d been back but some old friends remained on staff so it was great to reconnect with them!
