What a year it has been for Vanessa and Joe. From a worldwide pandemic to moving across country during said pandemic to planning a wedding from 3,000 miles away, it has been quite the adventure for them. What definitely must be said after this time of challenges is that it is clear that these two are made for each other.
Vanessa and Joe’s Perona Farms wedding was our first in their new Refinery venue space. We had been impatiently waiting to photograph there and it was totally worth the wait. Perfectly designed with rustic, industrial elements and unique touches such as a speakeasy and brick pizza oven, the Refinery is the perfect setting for a wedding.
Aside from the venue itself, the best part of this wedding was the intense love and emotion that was radiating throughout the day. From the card readings… to the first look with Vanessa’s dad…to meaningful speeches during dinner..and let’s not forget the most epic flower girl ever, this wedding was one for the record books.
