2023 is almost gone! Not sure why it’s gone so quickly but it’s been a great one!
Our fall calendar is almost full with weddings, engagement sessions and family sessions and after some debate, we decided to move forward with mini sessions this year.
Because of limited availability, we have designated 2 days for mini family sessions. Longer sessions are still available this year, however, we only have weekday dates available.
Spots will be limited and will be offered on a first come, first serve basis. See below for info and details.

1. What are fall mini-sessions?
Mini-sessions are perfect for families that want updated family photos but don’t necessarily need or want to spend too much time required with a full photography session. We plan them for the fall time as these are ideal for that special time of year- sending out holiday cards!
2. What should we wear?
Pro tip… be comfortable in whatever you choose! We aren’t fashionistas over here but we definitely recommend bright, bold fall colors that will contrast against the greens in the park (avoid green!) If one of you is wearing patterns, great! Take colors from that pattern and bring those colors into your family members outfits. Layers and textures look great and accessories are also good for adding a little extra pop. We recommend not completely matching from head to toe.
3. When should we arrive?
Because we book these fall mini-sessions back-to-back, we are leaving 10 minutes between sessions to recoup. Please arrive on time so we avoid any conflicts with the session before or after yours! If you are running late we cannot give you extra time during your session since it would push into the following sessions. Please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early, that way we can be sure to get all the photos you were hoping for of your beautiful family!
4. How many people can I bring with me?
These fall mini-sessions are designated for families and unfortunately we cannot accommodate anyone that is not immediate family. If you would like to book a session with extended family we would recommend a full session.
5. What is your cancellation policy?
Mini-session retainers are non-refundable. Please make sure before booking that you are available on the date and time you book. If you absolutely cannot make your session and you cancel with at least 24 hours notice, you will receive a credit of the retainer towards a future session (expiring within one year).
6. What if it rains, do you offer a rain date?
Yes, we will open more time slots on 10/30 if the prior date is rained out. 11/11/23 will be our last resort rain date if needed. Please be sure you are available for all dates in the case of bad weather. If for some reason you cannot make the rain date and you cancel with more than 24 hours notice you can use the credit towards a future session.
7. Can I give or sell my mini-session to someone else?
Absolutely. You can gift or sell your mini-session if you are unable to attend.
8. How long before I receive my images back?
You will receive your images in an online gallery within 14 days.
9. Can I purchase more images than what is included in the mini collection?
Yes, you can absolutely purchase extra images that were not included in the collection!
10. Can I purchase prints and albums of my session?
Yes! We would love for you to meet with our art designer who can assist with bringing your images to life through print. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule your art consultation.
11. I want to schedule something outside of a mini-session because I would like to have an extended family shoot done. How do I schedule that?
You can certainly do that. Please keep in mind, weekends are not available and we would have to plan for a weekday. You will want to reserve your date asap. Email us at email@example.com to schedule!
