When Jamie and Francis said they wanted to take their engagement photos at Old Westbury Gardens, we were THRILLED! In the over 10 years we have been photographing, Old Westbury Gardens has been on our dream list of locations to photograph at. But, we have moved further away. That meant it was a trek to meet Jamie and Francis for their engagement session. But… it SO worth it. Everything was in bloom and the gardens owed amazing! Old Westbury Gardens’ grounds are massive and can be overwhelming for the first time but their staff was on hand to help us out.
For this session, we had the opportunity to photograph in film as well and we are obsessed with the results. There’s just something so beautiful about film photography – it feels romantic and perfect for engagement sessions. We had such a great time with Jamie, Francis, their pup and their family entourage and we can’t wait to see them all again next year for the big day!
