Emily and Anthony’s Grand Oaks Country Club wedding in our old hometown of Staten Island was the first in a double wedding weekend that kicked off our September. Emily got ready in her families home which is a gorgeous historic home in one of our favorite neighborhoods in Staten Island. We got a chance to get to know her daughter Thea and the rest of her family before heading out to the first look at Grand Oaks.

Grand Oaks Country Club has a beautiful property that allows for a first look in a secluded wood area. From the second these two saw each other right through their portrait session they were nothing but smiles. It was such a pleasure to capture Emily and Anthony as they are clearly so in love.

Our favorite moments from the rest of the day were definitely during the reception. The bridal party had a kick ass intro to wrestling theme music followed by the groomsmen celebrating with a Stone Cold Steve Austin beer smash. From there we knew the party was going to be amazing. If the photos from our Big Picture photo booth are any indication, the party was not just kept on the dance floor!
