Albuquerque, New Mexico

It was always on Jenn’s bucket list to visit the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta and we finally made the trek to Albuquerque, New Mexico this past October. The first night of our arrival we headed to the Twilight Twinkle where a bunch of the balloons are inflated and are simultaneously lit up as the night goes on. It was definitely a sight to see!

The following morning we woke before the sun to the see the mass ascension. We were not prepared to see the amount of balloons we saw going up into the sky. It was amazing! It is definitely something you should see once in your lifetime.

Our trip to New Mexico didn’t end there as we took a day trip to Sante Fe and also spent a day at the Sandia Peak Tramway and hiking at Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument. We had hoped to visit the White Sands National Monument but time did not allow, so next time!
